Pros

It pays the bills. Co-workers are nice, and the manager is good.

Cons

Compensation is extremely poor for the amount of work required and in contrast to FAANG peers. As layoffs shifted the industry, Microsoft used this as a chance to instill fear and harsher standards across the company, plummeting morale. We work like dogs.

Advice to Management

Actually value your employees. Give them free food, make them feel valued, and pay them more. Make employees the number one priority if you want to truly have sustainable high work.
