WLB, fun problems, work autonomy.
The Redmond campus is under heavy construction due to the campus refresh.
This was for a fresh graduate role in the firmware space. I had four rounds of interviews. 1. Technical phone screen: 30 minutes. I was asked questions about RTOS, synchronization primitives, and to explain a linked list and an array to a 5-year-old
It was a great experience. They heavily believe in behavioral interviewing and thus prepare very well for those. They mostly focus on conflict, asking "Tell me one time you were wrong." They also have a habit of diving deep into your resume.
I progressed through several stages of the interview process, including: * A phone conversation with the recruiter * An online coding test * Four onsite rounds, consisting of: * Three coding interviews * One system design assessmen
