People stay for a reason
Many people at Microsoft have been there for a long time. I anticipate doing the same because they value growth and learning. Mistakes are opportunities to learn, and everyone advocates for getting help sooner rather than later.
It's a very large company, so your mileage may vary. Every manager is different, and your work may not have the impact you want. This is reconciled by the opportunity to move internally.
Keep up the regular town halls with the leadership team, and answer the harder questions when they come up.
