I have a programming background, but I applied to be a Technical Program Manager. This was my second time applying for that role. Both times, I was unwillingly switched to a Software Engineer position. The interview preparation process is difficult

1 on campus (30 mins) and 5 onsite interviews (1 HR each, except one which was 2 hrs). Every interview had at least one coding question to be done on the whiteboard, sometimes even more than one.
