I absolutely loved interning at Microsoft! Your team will make sure you have a cool project to work on, and they also treat you like a real member of the team. I learned so much from working with them because they were all so incredibly smart.
Also, sooooo many perks: a free Chainsmokers/Daya concert, free Xbox, free swag, and having people high up in my org WANT to get to know me (won't happen if you just start here fresh out of college). I can't recommend this enough. Oh, and Seattle is such a cool place to live for a summer, and MS pays for your housing and relocation.
Not many I can think of. I think compared to FB/Amazon, it's not as young and fast-paced, but it is still a hub of innovation. And seriously, you can't go wrong with an internship at any of these big tech companies.
