Pros

When failures are seen as learning opportunities, everyone is encouraged to learn and improve.

Having many customers using your product feels very impactful and comes with unique opportunities to handle big challenges.

Cons

No large company is guaranteed to be consistent throughout, and some teams could have problematic cultures. Bodies of code tend to fall victim to entropy as they age and become more opaque to the people they get handed off to.

Advice to Management

Keep making the climate a priority.
