1 round HR interview. 1 round phone interview for 1 hour. 1 round on-site interview for 4 hours. The first round is with the hiring manager. 3 rounds are whiteboard coding. 1 round is system design.

It was the hiring event. I had a phone call with the recruiter first, then took an online assessment. If I passed, I would proceed to the next step: a virtual onsite with four rounds in total.

The interview process was similar to a typical software engineer position at BayArea. A telephonic screening was followed by 5 rounds of onsite interviews, one after another, scheduled in a single day.
