The Suzhou CMD team feels like a big contractor team where engineers are disposable. High-level managers in Seattle don’t really care about our opinions. They kept feeding us with ambitions and big pictures, with no actual rewards or compensations for hard workers. They don’t care if talents want to leave or not, because individuals are not valued.
You will receive about the same salary for working 80 hours/week or 80 hours/year. Also, promotion is wrecked. Super duper slow career growth (5-9 to 6-2 takes 3-4 years) comparing to FLAG or local companies like PDD or Tencent.
Code Review or Design Interview: For technical roles, there may be a code review or system design interview during the on-site process. You might be asked to solve problems on a whiteboard or demonstrate your approach to designing systems.
The problems are not difficult. Although not all tests are passed, the interview goes well. There are 5 rounds in total, and each round takes 1 hour.
A set of two written coding questions to be finished before the interview. Then, a Skype business interview where two or three HR representatives will connect with you and ask questions.
