Even though the salary is much lower than that of Seattle coworkers, Microsoft pays much better than local Vancouver companies.
Parking is inconvenient. The city is super congested. The parking fee is high.

Applied on their company website, and about two weeks later, the hiring manager reached out to schedule a technical screening interview. After completing the screen, I proceeded to four virtual onsite interviews.
