The interview process involved an initial conversation with a recruiter, followed by a technical interview with an engineer from the department where I would have worked. These interviews were not connected, meaning they were mutually exclusive steps

Applied through a university recruiter. Received a response by email after a few days requesting an interview. Then did a Skype interview with a software engineer. Was asked to code online using Skype and was asked a few questions about my resume.

Great experience. The questions were tough, but they have their standards to meet. Applied through an employee referral, cleared the phone screen, then drove to Redmond for the full onsite. Had three interviews there the same day.
