It was an awesome experience. You get full ownership of a project, which is amazing to have as an intern.
A lot of the projects received a lot of attention throughout Microsoft.
The management is really good; everyone is willing to help.
At the Garage, you won't be given full exposure as to what it's like to be a Software Engineer at Microsoft, because it's an experience of its own. With that said, you'll learn some valuable skills and gain amazing experience, and you can be given another internship or full-time interview.
The pay in the States is way better, but management is working on it.
