Personal experience the following cons will differ per team:
I applied online. The process was a hiring manager screen initially and an onsite loop consisting of 4 rounds. The offer was given two weeks after that. It relied heavily on the position and how one would tackle problems with their past experience.
Basic HR questions, such as "Why are you interested in working for Microsoft?" and "What do you currently do in your job now?" Then, 3 basic CS questions, like "What is polymorphism?" Finally, a testing question. I got hung up on the testing quest
This was a New Grad position. 1. Phone Interview - 30 minutes. The interviewer discussed my course projects and the kind of work I am looking to do. Some of my friends had coding questions. 2. On-site interviews - 4 interviews, 45 minutes eac
