Nice people. Laid back. Rest and vest.
Low pay. On call. Not a lot of young people.
I interviewed for a SWE summer intern position. First, there was an on-campus interview which was half an hour. Later, they flew me to Redmond for on-site interviews. My interview consisted of two rounds.
Overall, I thought the interview was fair. The interviewers were very personable and smart! First, I completed a straightforward phone interview. Then, I moved on to the onsite portion, which included 3-4 interviews and a lunch.
Four interviews were conducted, each with a member from a different team. A small break was scheduled between each interview. The interviews were mostly focused on technical questions, with whiteboarding occupying the majority of each session.
