A video call to analyze my English abilities. The goal is to see if, in the long term, I am capable of holding a conversation in English with someone. This person would ask me questions about their products in order to get feedback.

I interviewed for a Software Engineer Intern position at Microsoft. The first round was an online assessment that tested problem-solving and coding skills. Although I performed decently, I didn’t advance to the next stage.

Corporate questions not related to the position, but rather about integration, equality... The interview was supposed to be in English, but in the end it was in French. I was rather disappointed overall.
