The whole process was straightforward and fast. For the last round, I had to wait two weeks (the interviewer was out of office), but it was clearly communicated. If I had been in a rush, MongoDB would have found a solution. After the last round, the decision was made in one day.

Everybody was super nice and super professional in all the interview rounds. If I hadn't gotten an offer, it wouldn't have left a bitter taste in my mouth either; I enjoyed the overall process.

I wouldn't say it was very difficult, but the seven rounds were stressful.

• Runtime and space complexity analysis of a given code snippet
• Find optimal solutions to given problems (element finding in unsorted and sorted arrays) and analysis of the solutions
• Data compression
• Lookup in huge amounts of data

Director interview:

• Motivation to join
• Cultural fit
• How would I handle if I had a different opinion on a code than the reviewer
