I've been with MongoDB for 4+ years.
Overall, I'm quite happy with the culture, challenging projects, and internal communication. People are nice and helpful.
The job can be very stressful, most likely affecting your work/life balance. The workload is quite high.
I applied online. I found the entire MongoDB interview process to be very organized and detailed, and that they moved relatively quickly. My negative experience comes from the interviews themselves. I had an initial 30-minute call with the recruiter
Online, easy interview. They asked basic questions about me and the projects I undertook. It was a very smooth process; the people were really nice. It was a very informal interview. I enjoyed the process very much.
Recruiter phone interview, a technical screen, then multiple technical interview rounds. I've gone through non-concurrent programming, concurrent programming, algorithms, and the design one. I didn't make it to the behavioral and final interviews. T
