Diversity can turn tribal, as you often see teams that are 90% composed of one national origin, speaking their own language at work. They work to fix it, but it's very hard when people's national origin is very hard to determine. They will not adopt a competing product or contribute to a competing product because they want their product to win. It is the price to pay to have a highly dynamic tech space.
