Pros: The working environment is cool, and everyone is very polite. Being an investment bank, the technological stack is constrained but still offers a lot to do and learn. Lots of smart people around who focus more on design and architecture, which is a big plus. There are lots and lots of projects internally, and hence lots of opportunities. People are trained to be leaders and are pushed forward accordingly. Superiors are very approachable, and the overall environment is pretty good.

Cons: Well, it takes a lot of convincing to bring in new technology, as people are skeptical to adapt. Some projects run on really outdated tech stacks. As it's a global company, the Scrum calls held sometimes are really late, which is a problem. Processes for retaining talent aren't good, and superiors have a laid-back attitude. Sometimes, people are hired and assigned to a project without much thought on their strengths.

Pros: Work culture: People are good and supportive.

Cons: A bit of office politics

Pros: Excellent salary - one of the best in India. Good work culture. Working with good people around you. Working on live IT systems of the Bank.

Cons: Job security can be a challenge; the axe is always hanging over you. Working with the best people can also be a con if you feel insecure.
