Pros: Perks, free coffee... needed to type at least 5 words in this field.

Cons: Custom systems with no market value. Stay long time and it would be difficult to work elsewhere. Security constraints are killing creativity. Layoffs are targeting older employees now. Don't count on retiring in this company. Salary used to be competitive but not anymore. Lies are tolerated from managers, who are constantly plotting how to take advantage/advance their careers by using you as a tool.

Pros: WLB was good for me as a junior. I was able to clock out at exactly 5 and sometimes a bit earlier, and no one ever said anything about it.

Cons: Support rotas where I received precisely zero training on how to do anything. Every issue was something brand new and essentially impossible to solve on my own without deep knowledge of systems I had never even heard of prior to the incident. Although my WLB was good as a junior, essentially all the more senior people seemed to be online until ~9pm. I was able to reach people in the UK at around 7-8pm their local time. Local people (including the NY office) were all reachable after hours and answered emails in the late evening.

Pros: Competitive salary package Good medical package

Cons: Legacy and proprietary system. No new development. Maintenance work.
