Pros: Room for growth. Lots of resources. Nice people.

Cons: Lots of politics. Red tape. And other external productivity blockers. A classic large organization, but even worse since it is subject to legal regulations.

Pros: 1. Good pay. 2. Decent amount of documentation on intranet. 3. Colleagues are nice and helpful, from my experience.

Cons: Boring, meaningless work that never gets done. The culture values meeting attendance and goal setting more than actually creating and developing real solutions. A lot of this can also be attributed to: * The regulatory nature of the finance industry * The lack of pushback from lower management to upper management (i.e., politics/lack of control/lack of cohesion) * The terrible build/deployment system that is based off of Jenkins. It's terrible and clunky and takes a million years just to get a basic software project started.

Pros: A good place to work here.
