Python Enthusiasts Wanted! Interview Experience - Montreal, Canada
Process
I applied via the company website and received an email to schedule a phone call interview. It was a 30-minute phone call. The questions were all about syntax and method names. Unfortunately, I never memorized them because I rely on a well-configured IDE that helps me find method names, correct syntax, and underline non-conforming code (according to a coding style format that I configure). It was a low-level interview. It would be good for a student who is used to preparing and memorizing code for an exam and replying on an exam paper.
Questions
How to capitalize a string, how to uppercase a string, and how to check if a string is upper or lower case?
