I was very disappointed with the interview process at MS Bangalore. My resume was processed by a consultancy, and I was asked to arrive at 10:30 AM.

There were at least 50 candidates stuck in a presentation room, which was extremely suffocating. You could get out, but you couldn't re-enter the room, and the security personnel had to let people in about 100 times. Then, the HR asked everyone to submit their CVs. There was absolutely no sequence; you may have arrived first but submitted after 30 other people.

I sat for 1 hour before the first round. I sat for 1 hour and 15 minutes before the second round. I sat for 1 hour and 30 minutes before the third round. I simply left after that (around 5:30 PM), although I was asked to wait. I developed a terrible headache after sitting in that room for so long.

Here are a few notable things:

The HRs there (some of them seemed like consultants, not full-time employees at MS) were calling out names like (A, B, and C) to go for lunch, as if other people didn't need to eat. I believe they had limited lunch and were not interested in offering it to candidates who would not clear the initial rounds. It was absolutely hopeless. I did not eat the whole bloody day.

The third interviewer asked a hopeless question, which would probably take a full day to code. He then went for a smoke and returned after 10-15 minutes.

The fourth round was managerial. Because I had left, I did a telephonic round. I never heard from the HR or anyone after that.

Don't bother going to Morgan Stanley for an interview unless you want to fast and waste your day.
