I only spoke with three people:
- The hiring manager.
- The team lead.
- An outside expert.
I spoke informally with the hiring manager during a walk in the city. This conversation was mostly for him to present the project and assess my personality.
The team lead asked about my experience, and we chatted about my prior work history. There were no technical questions asked.
The outside expert posed some tougher questions, most of which I was able to answer.
