The interviewer was very rude and derogatory in his line of questioning. He was Indian.
I passed my B.Tech back in India 14 years ago. The first question this interviewer asked was whether I got the job in an on-campus or off-campus interview.
This was the first time any interviewer asked how I got my job. This is simply ridiculous. At that time, I was in the USA and looking for jobs in India since I was trying to move back permanently. He asked what visa I was on in the USA. It did not even matter for the job posting, since it was in India.
This interviewer left after 30 minutes, and another person joined, even though this interviewer was supposed to take the whole 60-minute interview. The other person who joined wasn't even prepared for the interview and didn't even have my resume. It was a complete waste of time.
Avoid this company.
