I received the invitation for the Women in Technology event. I reached the location early and found it well-organized with a warm welcome. The session was very inspiring and interactive, lasting until 11 am.
Then, all was set for the panel. We were taken to different locations for our respective panels. The QA panel had more members when the panelists were segregated.
Later, they started with a written test containing 5 questions on Java/DB/Selenium, which were basic and easy to crack.
Following validation, they confirmed that the position was open for one QA role and shortlisted only 3 out of 25 candidates, which was really disappointing. I am not sure on what basis they did the validation. It looks like they just wanted numbers for this Women in Technology event.
