Process

The interview process consisted of three rounds.

Round 1:

  • 10 multiple-choice questions
  • Two typical aptitude-style programming problems. For example, given a string like "ABC", find all possible distinct permutations (e.g., ABC, BAC, CAB).
  • One simple database query.

Round 2: A face-to-face interview focusing on core Java concepts, with a particular emphasis on multithreading.

Round 3: HR interview.

Questions

Given a string, find its distinct permutations. Example: ABC => BAC, CAB, BCA.

Sort array elements in place, making even and odd numbers together.

MCQs were based on static nested classes, exception behavior in inheritance. Nothing fancy here.
