Software Test Engineer Interview Experience - New York, New York

Process

Such a long process of about 3 months. Around 5 telephonic and 2 office visits, each with 2 rounds per day.

And finally, when it comes to negotiation, the HR team will tell you that what you asked for in the beginning (and on which they agreed) is not in their bandwidth.

If you are expecting more than a 25-30% hike, believe me, guys, this company will be a time killer for you. No matter how many times they agree on compensation, do not believe them because, at last, it won't be more than 30%.

Coming to interview rounds: It won't be that hard.

  1. Some basic coding questions.
  2. Stack or Queue problems.
  3. Selenium interview questions (parallel execution and group execution).
  4. Framework design (very important).
  5. OOPs basics.
  6. Problems and design with OOP. Basic Unix.

But in my suggestion, if you are reading this, please don't waste your time. I have already wasted mine, and it's hopeless.

I cleared all the rounds and was even asked for documents. Then, just because I didn't have my latest hike letter, they kept me waiting for about a month. By the time I got another offer and informed them, the question raised by HR was, 'You are doing window shopping.' Till this date, there is no callback from their end.
