Depending on the team, it can be very good
- Flexible working: 2-3 days in the office.
- Good work-life balance: 9 am-6 pm with an hour for lunch.
- People are great.
- Not a lot of corporate BS, such as performance ratings or reviews.
- Team most likely split across regions: US, London, India, which makes it a bit harder to work and harder to have good relationships with teammates in other regions without ever seeing them in person.
- Depending on the team, tech can be quite old.
- Most of the infrastructure is built in-house, which is by default inferior to open-source solutions.
