As at most big companies, the DEI trainings were annoying, and the yearly pay raise is slow (but at least it's present and steady for some). It seemed that they did not really value experienced people, so they let go of a few of them due to money.
Don't let people go if they are good and want more money. Also, consult with direct managers if you are planning to streamline teams.
