Pros

I've learned a lot of skills.

Cons
  • Extremely stressed environment.
  • No proper direction for firm objectives and technologies to use.
  • Mostly internal tools are used, which makes learning and investigation really hard.
  • Very bad social vibe, and people are always under pressure.
  • Layoffs can happen and cut you any day, and it can be all because of the stock market.
  • A lot of meetings with overseas staff, and sometimes you need to work outside business hours.
  • Not able to negotiate your salary after a couple of years.
  • Don't value their employees and senior staff and only consider them as resources.
Advice to Management

Focus on your employees and try to get away from all these customized internal tools. Don't "organize" everything. Care about people and don't hire/fire all the time.
