Unfortunately, salaries are behind the curve in the Hungarian market. The company earns profits in USD, and with the FX rate against HUF, they're paying less for employees in Hungary. Even then, they can't raise salaries properly, or at the very least, adjust to inflation.
If you want to hire the brightest minds, then you need to compensate accordingly. You can’t live off your reputation forever.
