Pros

Great salary, tons of time to learn and improve yourself. 20 days of vacation standard, and you can take all as early as January 1st. Also, the work-life balance is usually good.

Cons

Management is very closed-minded and struggles with agile. They will say they are a bank every time you propose something new or an improvement. Also, your experience varies widely depending on which manager you have. Some are very strict and against home office. It's not so easy to change teams as they say; you can get backlashed. Almost everything is self-funded, which contributes to very poor team building.

Advice to Management

Efficiency, productivity, and team management need to be revised ASAP. Many managers with years at the company are not willing to change or improve anything. They simply do not care if someone or the team is not delivering well. In 2020, they are still struggling to accept agile and co-location (to reduce offshore dependency).
