The working environment is cool, and everyone is very polite.
Being an investment bank, the technological stack is constrained but still offers a lot to do and learn.
Lots of smart people around who focus more on design and architecture, which is a big plus.
There are lots and lots of projects internally, and hence lots of opportunities.
People are trained to be leaders and are pushed forward accordingly.
Superiors are very approachable, and the overall environment is pretty good.
Well, it takes a lot of convincing to bring in new technology, as people are skeptical to adapt. Some projects run on really outdated tech stacks. As it's a global company, the Scrum calls held sometimes are really late, which is a problem. Processes for retaining talent aren't good, and superiors have a laid-back attitude. Sometimes, people are hired and assigned to a project without much thought on their strengths.
Retaining talent is something that is missing. Employees are assets, not resources; hence, proper guidelines should be put in place for retaining employees. Also, initial counseling sessions should be conducted to decide on the projects for which the hiring is done.
2 Technical followed by HR round. 1st Technical round was rescheduled multiple times due to unavailability of the panel. Overall, a very slow process. You need to do multiple follow-ups with HR.
The process includes 3 rounds of interviews, including HR and two technical rounds. The questions asked were both behavioral as well as technical. It is better if you prepare yourself with situation-type questions.
The interview process has 4 rounds. 1st is an online test in which DB/Python/Java-related multiple-choice questions need to be answered. It will be 60 minutes. 2nd is pure technical. 3rd is Sr. techno-management. 4th is management/HR round.
