Old proprietary technology. No acceptance of new ideas. Cliquish, arrogant culture. IT is run by technologists who have no sense of business value or practicality. They're proud of their technical prowess but don't realize that they're a financial company, not a tech company. Management shows no leadership, inspiration, or direction. They just let techies run the show, and they created a monster.
Resign and let real IT leaders run the show.
