It begins with a review of the candidate's resume, focused on their background, experience, and motivation for applying to the role. This review assesses technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and cultural fit within the organization.

Lengthy process, with the same type of questions from different people. They like people who are stable rather than competent. Was asked usual questions about log segments in Sybase. Network monitoring and shell scripting were also covered.

The interview was medium level. Though I did a lot of preparing on Java, multithreading, and coding, I was not fully prepared for DB (Hibernate) and resilience-related questions. It was a nervous interview.
