Pros

Lured by a good package while joining. Leave policies.

Cons

Yearly firing based on eliminating redundancy.

Proclaims itself to use cutting-edge/latest technology.

Most of the projects still live in the stone age era.

College grads who join here are treated as babies. They will be given preference over lateral hires throughout their careers. You could find a 5-10 year experienced lateral hire being led by a 2-3 year grad, who has no industry experience whatsoever. A 1-year grad is equivalent to 5 years of lateral hires.

Lateral hires will take 3-5 years to get a promotion, which a grad will get in 1 year. The firm speaks so much about equal opportunity, but I don't understand how it is encouraged in this case.

Too much politics and favoritism. You need to have higher-level contacts to survive.

Not a place for people who are technically strong.

Advice to Management

Focus on technology, not politics.
