They contacted me after I gave them my resume at a Job Fair.
I had a large interview day with approximately 25 interviewers. We were given presentations and had three separate technical interviews for the "Data Loss Prevention" Group.
The first interview asked me what I knew about Operating Systems and about my engineering history. Questions included, "Is it faster to move a process to the Wait List or to have that process do a Spin Wait?"
The second interview was a programming challenge: reverse the words in a string (e.g., "I am man" becomes "man am I"). They wanted me to do it without a buffer if possible.
The third interview asked me data protection questions, such as, "How does a Unix Snapshot work?" They also asked me to find errors in written code.
I bombed the third interview.
How can you keep a process's data safe from an external process overwriting it?
