This is a small site (Pittsburgh) within the company. The work culture is great compared to other larger sites.
You have to put in a lot of work to get recognized and move up the ladder. Good work is definitely recognized.
The engineers will have the option to stay on the technical side as they grow up the ladder.
A lot of process hampers engineering efforts, especially around QA.
A lot of engineers working on one product slows things down (especially around code line management).
Remove unnecessary process.
