Process

My interview process began with a phone call with an engineering manager to chat about the position and the team I would be joining.

I then completed a technical phone screen and an on-site interview.

The technical phone screen involved practical questions, and the on-site interview took a full day. It consisted of a technical session followed by a session focused on behavioral aspects, such as experience interacting with product and design, and perspective on the business.

The whole day was long, and the questions were challenging. Having read the culture deck beforehand, I was nervous about how those points would play out in real life.

Throughout the process, however, I was impressed with all the interviewers I spoke to. Their candor about what it's like to work at Netflix was much appreciated.

Overall, I believe the interview process was appropriately difficult, and the interview panel as a whole provided a good picture of what working at Netflix would look like.
