Great pay but politics and fear
Great pay, great pay, great pay.
The culture is shifting towards politics and pleasing the manager at the expense of delivery. Engineers tend not to take responsibility. People get fired. Even if you're a good engineer and keep shipping, it doesn't guarantee your safety. People tell black jokes about being fired, which is not a great sign. I don't think the Netflix values are alive anymore.
