Engineering is a total mess:
The company is around the globe and in multiple time zones. Build up a communication culture that would respect people's working hours.
Ask engineering about the inefficiencies they are facing (some are huge) and prioritize addressing them.
- Phone screen with recruiter - Phone screen with engineer/manager - On-site: 5 rounds. Every round was technical. One round was lunch, but the interviewer did not let me eat, continuing to ask more questions.
- HR - Tech Interviews - System Design Interview: Design a message system. Other things are uncertain as I withdrew from the process. Maybe I need to know more about system deep dives than usual system design interviews.
