Amazing place to work with cool tech and a meaningful mission
I love working on security and building security products. Netskope tech is ahead of the curve and hasn't stopped innovating. The work environment is good; it gives employees a great amount of agency and flexibility.
As a hypergrowth scaleup, not everything you would expect to be there and work without a hassle is there for everyone. A lot of ad-hoc processes and bureaucracy. You should make extra effort to discuss with your manager that you are on the same page regarding expectations and how day-to-day business is conducted.
They should collect some more feedback from the ground level and from management on stuff that takes more time on people's daily routines than it should. You could reduce micromanagement and mostly meaningless decision-making time with a few simple guidelines and communication. It's great that people are given a lot of agency and freedom, but how people end up interpreting their responsibilities and agency varies greatly.
