The overall experience with New Relic was really good and well-organized.

It started with a 90-minute online assessment, which I personally found to be one of the best platforms I’ve used. It had a smooth interface and fair questions.

The test covered aptitude, OOPs, SQL queries, and coding problems.

After that, shortlisted candidates moved to three rounds of interviews:

• Technical Round: Focused on medium-level coding questions, time and space complexity, OOPs, SQL/NoSQL, SOLID principles, and discussion about my past projects.
• Managerial Round: Covered both technical and conceptual topics like RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and Agentic AI, along with some behavioral and scenario-based questions. The interviewer mainly wanted to understand how I approach learning new technologies and problem-solving.
• HR Round: More of a casual chat about my background, family, and overall fit for the company.

The interviewers were all friendly and made the process comfortable. I really liked how transparent and structured everything was.
