Very, very bad experience.
As we all know, people believe in playing the offer-to-offer game to increase their salaries.
I think this offer-to-offer culture is booming because of these types of cheap-thinking companies.
For me, they conducted three rounds and finally, HR called and asked for basic information, CTC information, and my salary expectation.
How can a company be so unprofessional that firstly, they did not reply for two days, and when I called them for an update, they simply told me they cannot meet my expectation? I asked for only a 35% hike on my CTC. Is this too much to ask for?
If I had an offer of even a 100% hike, they would consider that offer and could give a 30% hike on that offer. Can we literally imagine how these companies are playing with us?
And the funny part is, when I asked how much they could offer me, they told me they could offer only what my CTC is. Nokia, are you seriously looking for a candidate, or do you guys not have any work, so you are simply passing time by taking interviews?
Happy that they cannot offer me. I really cannot feel any progress with this narrow-minded mentality culture.
