Pros

Work-life balance is good at Nokia. The work-from-home option varies from team to team, mainly depending on the line manager. It's not extremely stressful, and there are very flexible work timings.

Cons

Fewer chances to learn new things. There are no experts in specific areas. So, most of the time, issues involve a lot of speculation and guesswork rather than root cause identification. Quite a bit of office politics.

Fewer technical managers, which can sometimes impact employees quite badly. Too many managerial roles, so everyone demands updates on all ongoing activities, which can get irritating.

Advice to Management

Request management to be more involved technically.
