Pros
  • Sound and conservative management.
  • Pleasant place to work; people tend to be very friendly.
  • Benefits and vacation time are generous.
  • Get to work with a large company with global prestige.
  • Rich company can afford paying for little things here and there (like HD video conferencing) that are sound and helpful but not extravagant.
Cons
  • Management might be too slow to innovate and adapt to change.
  • Tough to get promotions without moving to Europe or another country.
  • Lots of red tape involved in getting anything done; it needs to have a more entrepreneurial attitude.
Advice to Management

Continue with sound and conservative management. You can't rest on your laurels forever, so it may help to be less arrogant and more adaptive to change. Competition is very fierce, and some more American-style innovative spirit might do some good.
