Overall, the interview process was pretty positive. It consisted of an HR screening, a technical-ish call with an engineer, an online assessment, and a virtual onsite.

One interviewer during my onsite was unfriendly and unhelpful when I was struggling with a question. Other than that, everyone else was super professional.

Pros: People here are kind, smart, and open to share. The leadership is very transparent about the company's progress. The company also adopts new tools and new workflows very quickly, which means a lot of opportunities to learn and to apply the latest technologies in daily work.

Cons: Not really a con, but just like most startups, the company is very sensitive to the macro environment and markets. The engineering team also needs to move quickly to support different business requests under resource constraints.

Pros: Terrific engineering culture working on one of the hardest and most impactful engineering problems there is: driverless autonomous vehicles for mass deployment. Not much politics, streamlined decision making, and the ability to focus on solving problems with real scope and improving the system.

Cons: Work on non-autonomy teams may not quite realize the same scope, culture, or impact as those working on the critical path, and as a result have a harder time identifying with the company's vision or mission.
