Pros: There are a lot of good people, and it's a fast-moving and exciting company to be at. I was really supported; my intern projects were interesting, and the culture was pleasant.
Cons: Sometimes upper management makes large-scale changes or decisions that don't seem to factor in employee input as much.

Pros: Everyone I worked with during my internship was friendly and willing to help me make progress on my project when necessary.
Since Nuro has been pretty successful recently, the overall atmosphere felt very exciting and positive.
Also, the company founders were accessible and transparent with employees, which I really appreciated.
Cons: Nuro is a startup, so I got the impression workloads can be heavy at times, especially when deadlines are approaching. Some logistical processes took longer than I expected.

Pros: People here are kind, smart, and open to share. The leadership is very transparent about the company's progress. The company also adopts new tools and new workflows very quickly, which means a lot of opportunities to learn and to apply the latest technologies in daily work.
Cons: Not really a con, but just like most startups, the company is very sensitive to the macro environment and markets.
The engineering team also needs to move quickly to support different business requests under resource constraints.
