Process

Overall, from start to finish, the process took about six months (October till March), but the interviewing process only took about two weeks. There were a total of two interviews for this internship.

Questions

There are two light switches connected in parallel to a single light bulb. This means that each light switch can turn on or off the light bulb, depending on its current state.

This configuration represents an OR gate.

Why: An OR gate outputs a 'true' (or 'on') signal if at least one of its inputs is 'true'. In this setup, the light bulb turns on if either the first switch is closed, or the second switch is closed, or if both are closed. The bulb only remains off if both switches are open.
