Process

The process was smooth. I was contacted by the recruiting coordinator to set up a telephonic interview with a member of the ASIC team. It was a 45-minute phone interview, fully technical with no behavioral questions. The interviewer was nice and helpful. He helped me solve the question until I got the answer. He also gave some insight on how to approach a specific problem, in my case, a scripting question to which I had no clue how to solve. They gave the result in 2 days.

Questions

Basic computer architecture questions, including pipeline concepts and hazards.

Finite State Machine (FSM) for a sequence detector.

Fibonacci sequence using recursion and linked list reversal.

A scripting question that I could not answer.
